Biography
Edward is a warm, calm, and approachable provisional psychologist who is passionate about allowing space for people to be heard and discuss their life challenges. He is currently in his final semester of a Master of Clinical Psychology and has a background working at headspace, crisis support with Lifeline, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
Edward has experience working with children, adolescents and adults facing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, stress, and alcohol and drug use. He is also experienced in administering comprehensive psychological assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Specific Learning Disorders.
Edward utilises evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients struggling with mental health challenges.
Edward is passionate for learning, having been awarded a university medal for placing first in his undergraduate studies, and continues to learn new strategies and techniques to help best support clients
Edward is based at Armchair Psychology’s Edgecliff office in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
