Luke is a Psychologist with experience providing individual and group therapy for adults and older adolescents who present with a range of mental health difficulties. He uses an evidence-based and collaborative approach to treatment, and attempts to practice in a warm, genuine manner to help clients feel comfortable in sharing their experiences. Luke appreciates idiosyncrasies and strives to tailor interventions to the individual needs of each client to empower them to reach their goals. He ensures that clients’ needs are met within each session and that any skills/knowledge learnt is transferrable to everyday life.
Luke obtained his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from UNSW. During his degree, he trained at the UNSW Psychology Clinic, the Westmead Anxiety Clinic, and the Black Dog Institute Psychology Clinic. Throughout his training, he worked with individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, stress, OCD, panic disorder, PTSD and bipolar disorder. He uses a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
